High salary package is dependent on two things:
A good college with an on-campus placement and sound technical knowledge. If you are planning to pursue M.Tech from IIT-B, then campus will not be an issue. To get a high package, you must have very good technical knowledge.

Hello Mayur,It is indeed heartening to know your dream of joining the premium institute of India. You have already won half the battle.
IITs do not give lateral admission. However, they accept Diploma as equivalent to class 12th. Hence, you need to score 75% marks or more in your Diploma, amd then clear JEE Mains followed by JEE Advanced.

You have to first give JEE Mains exam. If you crack that one then you have to give JEE Advanced and then if you wanted to go in IIT Bombay then your All India rank (AIR) must be in first 5000 to 8000 students.

IIT Dhanbad is not actually an IIT, it is ISM Dhanbad, the famous institution for mine engineering. IIT Jodhpur is a new IIT as compared to ISM Dhanbad, so no placement data will be available for you to judge which one is better, in this case, go for the IIT that is old and established I.e. ISM Dhanbad

These are the steps required to be followed for getting admission into IIT Bombay:
Firstly, aspirants need to qualify JEE Main. Top 2.4 lakh students who clear JEE Main will be eligible for JEE Advanced.
Step 2: If aspirants clear the first stage i.e. JEE Main, they need to appear for JEE Advanced. Admissions will be based on the rank acquired in JEE Advanced.
Step 3: After JEE Advanced results are declared, students need to appear for JoSAA online counselling.
