IIT is more popular than VIT Mauritius. IIT is well known for its academic offerings, research opportunities, and strong alumni networks. On the other hand, VIT Mauritius is quite a new campus of VIT and may not have the same establishments and reputation. In addition, the cost to pursue B.Tech programs at IIT is way cheaper than VIT Mauritius due to the government funding.

Aspiring Student,

So, there is no syllabus as such but questions are mainly covered pertaining to topics like-analytical and reasoning skills, logical aptitude, design aptitude, general knowledge, english grammar and vocab, mathematical, quantitative and problem solving. Also refer to the UCEED and CEED papers from the years before and other sample papers. Resources on the internet are plenty (which should suffice). Also, there are many books for the above mentioned topics and NIFT, NID study material which you can refer to if needed (for there is some amount of overlap in the syllabus).

There is no provision of lateral entry in IITs and NITs in B.Tech programs. All the B.Tech admissions are made in IITs through the JEE-Advance and in NITs through JEE Main respectively.

For that, you have to first go to your school from where you have cleared your class 12th, ask the procedure of the improvement, finish all the formalities and then get back to your JEE preparation.

Hello Rohan,
You can appear for JoSAA counselling as you would have cleared the exam but your chances of getting an IIT will be very low. Even if you get an IIT, you may not get the top ones and you will also have very low chances to get a good course.
But you can try in the counselling to get a good college and course.

The candidates who wish to get admisison to the first generation of the IITs like IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee must have a high score of 250+ marks out of 360 marks. However, this is not applicable for all courses offered by these IITs. Every course and IIT has different demand and seat ratio which effects the admission of the candidates. Hence it is very difficult to say what will be the minimum score or rank required in JEE Advanced to get into a good IIT.

Candidates must aim to score as high as possib... View more
