Hi Latha,
The marks scored in the JEE Advanced depend on the difficulty level of the paper and the marking pattern. Everybody expects the questions to be tough, JEE Advanced is never a cakewalk. However, the marking pattern adds further complexities to an already tough paper. However, it can be safely said that if a general category student has an AIR of approximately 5000 he/she can get one of the IITs because the general category seats are 50% of the total number of 10k seats. At the same time, there are other institutes that use the JEE Advanced scores too. I would suggest that you check out:

You need to keep your basic concepts clear. You should study from NCERT books for strengthening the basic concepts. Try as much application based problems as possible. You need to sit for 3 hours and in order to solve these problems. Try and solve all the previous years question papers.

Hi,
The salary range varies depending on lot of factors. It is specific to an individual’s ability, as well as the course he has opted for and also the company in question. For example tier 1, tier 2 and tier 3 companies offer different range of salaries and that too, depends on role and responsibility.

Computer Engineer,

According to these marks, you cannot get any IIT. You can try for NIT colleges. You will find good NITs or any other private engineering colleges, and colleges which are also providing best placements and quality education. Best of luck.
Thank You.

Preparatory SC rank 1220 is a relatively good rank, and it increases your chances of getting admission to an IIT through the preparatory course. However, the availability of seats and the final admissions process can vary each year. It is recommended to check the official websites of the IITs and their previous year's cutoff ranks to get a better understanding of your chances for admission.

Hi,
The only difference is level of practise and dedication. IITians are the top in this aspect which can be easily noticed about their craze. So comes the NITians and general colleges.
It doesn't matter much because it is how you make use of the knowledge that matters in the latter half of your life. So, whatever college you are in work hard and enjoy life.
