<p>No, you cannot pursue MA Geography in IITs. Though, IITs offer Humanities courses, they do not offer Geography courses. You can pursue MA Geography from other reputed institutes such as Delhi University, Calcutta University, Presidency University etc.</p>

Hello Pratik, The IIT JAM exam is held every year for the admission into IIT institutes for M.Sc. And Other integrated courses. The upcoming IIT JAM 2020 exam is going to be held on 9 Feb. You must be aware of all the important dates and information. The exam centers for IIT JAM exam will be divided into 7 IIT zones and IISc. The 7 IIT Zones are as follows IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Kanpur, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Roorkee, IISc Bangalore. IIT Mandi has a beautiful location and is located on mountains and hills. Placements: placement season started in early August 2021. Students are provided with placement training as well. Around 70%-80% of students got placed in 2021.

If SC/ST there are chances that you get a call and for NCL OBC its varies between 75-85 percentile.
For General, percentile varies from 93-95 percentile.
But academics are also considered during selection process.

I wouldn't say it is too difficult, however, there is a high level of competition for the seats which makes it difficult to get through. Good written and verbal communication skills and general awareness would easily get you through the selection process. Make sure you are prepared for all the micro presentation topics given on the website well in advance.
