Hello Prem,
Yes, in Maharashtra there are colleges offering Diploma in aeronautical engineering. You will find the list of such colleges on the website of directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra. But here I will like to ask a query as to why Aeronautical Engineering Diploma? I am asking this because there are lots of problems of getting the job for students with this profession. If you can get admission for other branches of Engineering then the placements or job will be much easier to obtain. I would like to advise you that just think over it and do not take any decision in a hurry.

Hello Shikha,
Yes, your sister can surely get admission in aircraft maintenance engineering. She has scored 65% in 12th which is quite good. In addition I see that her choice of subject also seems to be good because this is the sector in which India is showing consistent growth of 15 to 25% year over year. Due to this reason almost all the airlines are increasing the aircraft on the strength which in turn increases the demand for aircraft maintenance engineers.

Hello Vishnu, You are presently studying for B.Com and now you wish to change it to aeronautical engineering. Isthat what you want? Well it is of course theoretically possible for you to do this, but the eligibility for getting admission in an engineering college is 12th with PCM. If you had done your 12th in PCM then you are definitely eligible but unfortunately if you have not done your 12th in PCM then I am afraid the doors are closed for you. If you are eligible as per this then you need to appear for the entrance exam for engineering colleges that is prescribed by your state or appear for JEE Mains if you want to get admission in

With respect to this field, it will be better to do B.Tech plus MBA. B.Tech in aeronautical is a technical field and when combined with MBA will give your career a major boost.

No, the only requirement is 10+2 with PCM (55%) and good money to invest in training. Government academies charge around 38 to 45 lakhs for CPL and private flying schools charge almost additional 10 lakhs.

Dear,
For both, you need to complete 10+2 with PCM. There is a common feature if you know engineering, you can understand nuances of flying an aeroplane quickly and correctly. If you are interested in engineering then chose AE and if you are interested to handle the controls, pilot training is a good but expensive option.
