I appreciate your efforts and your thinking in finding out information about joining engineering graduate course of aeronautical engineering after completion of your Diploma. It's Indeed good to think on these lines, but may I ask you a question. Why aeronautical engineering? As per my understanding and knowledge the prospects in this branch are not very great for placements. On the contrary the chances of employment in ECE are much greater in today's world. Hence I would sincerely advise you to look for graduation in this branch rather than in aeronautical engineering. However to come to your original query about the

Yes, you have asked a very pertinent and interesting query. The scope for Aeronautical engineers in India is indeed Limited. There are not many opportunities for employment in this field. DRDO, ISRO or armed forces are the ones who employ Aeronautical engineers to some extent. Employment in private Industries is almost non existent. Hence I will definitely say that the scope for Aeronautical engineers in country today is rather Limited.

It is nice to see, you are aiming to join aeronautical engineering. For doing this, you need to appear for and clear the requisite entrance exam prescribed by your state for entry into colleges belonging to your state. Else, you need to appear for JEE entrance exam and JEE Advanced for admission into IIT for this branch. Best wishes to you.

It's nice to know that you have been selected for aircraft management engineering. It is perhaps the newest branch of engineering which deals with the management of various Systems on board aircraft on perhaps the mapping of the whole aircraft as one entity. It's a new branch and hence not much is known about this but with the expanding footprint of civil aviation in India I think you will do well to accept and I am sure you will get good placements when you pass out.
Best wishes to you.
