Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) admission is entrance-based. admission is governed by the reservation policy laid down by the government. IIST Online Application Process 2026
The application process for IIST is completely online for all the courses. Before applying, aspirants must check the required qualifications for admission to the desired course. Eligible students can visit the IIST official website (http://admission.iist.ac.in)to fill out the application form. Candidates must pay the application fee for each course (the fees vary by category).
Selection Process
IIST prepares an admission rank list for candidates who have successfully registered and paid the application fees. The list is prepared based on the candidate's performance in the qualifying exam. In the case of the BTech programme, the list is prepared based on JEE (Advanced) Examination subject to satisfying the minimum marks prescribed as per the institution's admission body. For PG course, candidates with a valid GATE score and marks obtained in written tests/interviews are selected for admission. IIST Scholarships 2026
IIST - Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology offers 'Merit Scholarships' to its students who have excelled in their academics.
