After completing Aerospace Engineering from Pune, students have good career opportunities in government and private sector such as ISRO, HAL, DRDO, Boeing, Airbus, IndiGo, Air India and many defence companies. Aerospace Engineers have a starting salary of INR 4 LPA to INR 8 LPA for freshers and salary are going to rise up to INR 20 LPA or more with experience. Students also have another option to continue their higher studied like M.Tech or MS abroad for good career growth.

Yes, In fact, many aerospace companies in India and abroad prefer hiring Mechanical Engineers. Because their skills are broader and more versatile. Aerospace is essentially a specialised branch of Mechanical Engineering. To transition, you can pursue a Master's (M.Tech/MS) in Aerospace or simply gain proficiency in tools like ANSYS, CATIA, and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) to secure core roles in design and testing.

Yes they can! The condition is they need to get Green card first. Organizations like NASA and SpaceX fall under strict US government regulations. Most jobs at these organizations are restricted to US citizens or Green Card holders only.

ISRO stands for Indian Space Research Organization, it is a reputed governmental space organisation of India. Entry-level aerospace engineers in ISRO may earn around INR 600,000 to INR 800,000 per year. This can go up to 20 to 25 Lacs per month with experience. As a government employe, salary is one part of your total compensation. Other than that, you may get other benefits.

According to a report of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, experienced Aerospace engineers earn USD 130,720 per year. This salary is more than the aerospace engineer's salary in India. According to Naukri.com, the monthly salary of an experienced Aerospace engineer in India is between INR 1,20,000 to INR 2,50,000.

An average salary of an Aerospace Engineer is 13.6 Lakh PA. The salary is based on Indian jobs; it can differ abroad.

Students need to have Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class 12 to become aerospace engineer. They must have scored minimum 50% to be eligible and also appear for top entrance exams conducted by the university or any national-level or state-level entrance exam. They must solve as many mock tests and revise multiple times to crack the competitive examinations.
