Yes, candidates will receive an OMR sheet to take the AILET exam. Each question will have four answer options, with a circle corresponding to each option. Candidates must darken the circle associated with the correct answer using a black or blue pen, or pencil as instructed on the question paper. They should handle the OMR sheet carefully, as spilling ink or water on it, or tearing it, will not entitle them to a replacement sheet.

While filling out the OMR answer sheet, candidates should remember that each correct answer earns one mark, while 0.25 marks (or 1/4 mark) will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

Yes, you can make changes to the details you entered in the AILET application form after submission. To do so, follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Visit the official AILET portal - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in.
  2. Log in to your candidate account using your registered email address and the password you created during registration.
  3. Your application form will open.
  4. You will find an "Edit Application" option or button.
  5. Click on the button.
  6. Make the necessary changes.
  7. Finally, save and submit the updated details.

Note: The option to edit the AILET application is available throughout the registration/application period.

BCom LLB (Hons.) is one of the two undergraduate courses offered by the National Law University, Delhi, through the AILET exam. The other undergraduate course is BA LLB (Hons.). The eligibility criteria for AILET BCom LLB are as follows:

To qualify for AILET, you will have to score above or equal to the AILET cut-off according to your category. If you do not qualify for the exam, you can reappear for it next year if you want to study BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.) or LLM at NLU Delhi. If you want to take the exam again, you can opt for one of the following options: 

  • Take other law entrance exams, such as LSAT India, SLAT or any of the state-level law entrance tests.

If you have lost or forgotten the password for your AILET account, you need to visit the AILET official website - nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. Then, you need to click on the "Forgot Password?" option.

In the next step, you need to enter or confirm the email address that you used for the AILET registration. A "Reset Password" option will pop-up on the screen. Click on this option. A link to reset the new password will be sent to your registered email address. By clicking on the link and creating a new password, you will be able to generate your new AILET account password.

IILET is a standardized test with a uniform pattern and single question paper for admissions to five-year integrated LLB courses in Law. Candidates can take the exam for admissions IIL. Whereas, CLAT and AILET have separate question papers for UG and PG courses. Based on CLAT scores, admissions are done at 22 NLUs and accepting colleges. Check the list of NLUs here. NLU Delhi will commence the AILET 2026 application from August 07, 2025. AILET 2026 exam will be conducted on December 14, 2025 in online mode. Once, the exam will be concluded, the authorities will release the AILET exam result along with the merit lists.
