The Air New Zealand Academy of Learning does not have an application fee for its courses.
For the 2025 year of study, the school charge for the New Zealand Certificate in Aeronautical Engineering (Pre-employment Skills) Level 3 is about NZD 11,248, and extra course-related expenses are about NZD 500.

Air New Zealand Aviation Institute (ANZAI) is one of the pioneer training institutes of New Zealand providing top-notch education and training. It is specialised in the aviation training programs unlike Nelson Marlbourough Institute of Technology. Also, it’s the training arm of Air New Zealand. Yes, an average Indian student can join Air New Zealand Academy of Learning. He needs to clear the english proficiency tests such as TOEFL, IELTS and PTE with average scores such as :-

  1. IELTS: 5.5 & Above, TOEFL: 46 & Above, PTE: 42 & Above.
  2. To be offered a place on the programme, candidates need to pass a placement test comprising assessments in English, Maths and Physics as well as an Interview.

These criterias can be easily be met by an Indian student.

The job opportunities after doing Certificate from Air New Zealand Academy of Learning are like pilots, simulator training, engineering, and cabin crew. Candidates can also work directly in Air New Zealand so that they are able to contribute to aircraft maintenence and engineering.

Several companies which hire from here includes Rocket Lab, Air Work Defence Force, Hamilton Jet Christchurch Engine Centre, Terracat and Mission Aviation Fellowship.

The Air New Zealand Academy of Learning is not ranked specifically, but it provides top notch aviation training for about 75 years. It helps in training the pilots, simulator trining, engineering and cabin crew.

 The campuses handle more than 47,000 student enrolments a year catering to the educational needs of the aspirants of the aviation industry. ANZAI has been credited with providing world-class training to airline personnel for many of the leading airlines in the world including Air Nuigini.

  1. The cost of Diploma course at Air New Zealand Academy is INR 31 Lacs whereas, the cost of UG Diploma in Marlbourough Institute of Technology is 8.35 to 12 lakh.
  2. The cost of UG Certificate at Air New Zealand Academy is INR 3 Lacs to INR 12 Lacs whereas the cost of the UG Certificate in The Marlbourough Institute of Technology is INR 31 lakh.
