There are not enough valid reasons to choose UCIC over Massey University.
As the UCIC is foundation studies and pathways oriented college while the Massey University have a variety of programs with more specialization.
The chances of getting a reasearch opportunity at UCIC are unlikely to happen, while the Massey University offers really good Research opportunities.

No, Massey University does not immediately grant work permits because it is a New Zealand university. Instead, international students must apply for a Post Study Work Visa through Immigration New Zealand once their studies are over. International students can work up to 20 hours per week. FAU graduates work in top companies such as ASB Bank, Bank of New Zealand, Auckland University of Technology, Westpac New Zealand, Beca, Deloitte, EY, and more. Furthermore, Florida Atlantic University graduates work for top sectors such as Operations, Business Development, Education, Sales, Information Technology, and others.

Yes, Massey University allows their international students to work part-time. International students are permitted to work up to 20 hours a week. International students on a student visa must be enrolled in a full-time programme at Massey University. The programme duration must be lasting at least two academic years, and earning a level 4 or higher in NZ qualification.
