As per an unofficial source, the University of Otago acceptance rate is around 73% which means that this university is not that selective. Indian students would require to meet the Otago University admission requirements as given below - 

  • Relevant qualification 
  • Min score of 75% overall 
  • English language proficiency 
  • Additional docs like an updated CV, academic transcripts and an SOP

It may be moderately hard for Indian students to get into the University of Otago as its acceptance rate is around 58% to 65%

For most standard undergrads and postgraduate degrees, admission to Otago University is pretty much guaranteed the students meet the base requirements. 

But, the admissions may be tough or highly competitive for programs like Medicine, Dentistry and Law. For these courses, the entry depends upon your GPA.

Studying at the University of Otago in New Zealand is not free for Indian students. It can be considered bit expensive for Indian students as cost sums up to be around INR 14.81 L - 63.36 L on an average.
