The Auckand Uni Technology offers its students all the support services they need to make their transition easier. This includes counselling and mental health support, health and well being, employability and career support, medical centres, student hub, and suppport for students from the LGBTQ community.

Yes, there are many India food places on campus, per the latest AUT University reviews posted by students on Shiksha Study Abroad.

A Master of Applied Finance student of the Class of 2025 batch suggested that presence of Indian and Chinese food options makes the transition to a New Zealand very easy.

Yes, AUT University New Zealand has an Indian Student Association (AUTISA). The university organizes several cultural events for Indian students on campus.

It also holds several workshops, competitions, and social gatherings. One can get in touch with these universities via social media platforms.

Yes, students can postpone their entry at AUT Uni to a later intake if they have an admission offer and feel it is not the right time to study at the uni. To do that, they would need to complete the International Student Defer Study Form. This can be done via the university website.

This form is to be submitted online to the AUT Uni admissions team. They would then share a decision for entry to a different intake at Auckland Technology Uni.

Indian students need a minimum of NZD 20,000 (INR 10.9 Lakhs) for 1 year of living in New Zealand + 1st year tuition fees. Students can show the funds via savings account (held 6+ months), educational loans, or via the Fund Transfer scheme.

The ANZ Bank FTS allows students to deposit NZD 20,000 for living costs. These can be taken out in 12 installments over the year.

1 NZD = INR 54.53

Indian students interested in a UG degree can enrol at AUT Uni with an IELTS score of 6.0 (no band less than 5.5). For UG (Honours) degree or a PG degree, the minimum IELTS score requirement is 6.5 (no band less than 6.0).

Yes, AUT Uni helps Indian students find part-time jobs or internships after they arrive. The university lists many job opportunities at its AUT CareerHub. All listings on the platform are reserved only for students at the university.

On-campus roles like ambassadors, library assistants, and administrative staff also exist.

AUT Uni does not offer 100% scholarship to Indian students. However, it does offer partial merit-based financial help to eligible students. This includes the AUT UG Scholarship worth INR 2.6 Lakhs-INR 5.2 Lakhs and trhe AUT PG Scholarship worth INR 3.65 Lakhs.

Yes, students can study at the Auckland University of Technology without IELTS. Students with strong scores in their Class 12th English exam or valid scores in other English tests like TOEFL, Perason PTE, Cambridge English, or NZCEL can study here without IELTS.

Indian students have to pay an initial deposit worth the 1st semester's tuition fees to confirm their seat at AUT New Zealand.

The same can be paid via the official university website, either through bank transfers or online payment services.
