Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts its own entrance test for LLB admissions. The exam evaluates legal reasoning, general knowledge, current affairs, and language skills. Students who pass the test are called for counselling and seat allocation. To be eligible, you must have completed a bachelor's degree with at least fifty percent marks. The annual fee for the LLB programme is quite affordable, usually around ten thousand to fifteen thousand rupees. AMU is renowned for its excellent faculty, moot court training, and a rich legal curriculum that provides both theoretical and practical exposure to aspiring law professionals.

Unfortunately, with forty-two percent in your ISC 12th board exam, you would likely not be eligible for B.Tech admission at AMU (Aligarh Muslim University). AMU's eligibility criteria for B.Tech typically require a minimum of fifty percent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (or equivalent subjects) in your 10+2 examination from a recognised board. It's always best to check their official admission prospectus for the most current and precise requirements for the specific academic year you're applying.

The marking scheme of the AMU B.Sc. Hons. Entrance Exam is such that candidate gets 1 mark per correct answer. The marking of incorrect answers is negative where 0.25 marks are deducted on each incorrect answer. The test generally comprises 100 objective type questions in each of the mandatory subjects such as English, Physics and Chemistry and an optional one such as Mathematic, Biology or Home Science based on the B.Sc. The Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) BBA program typically requires a minimum of 50% in the 10+2 or equivalent examination. While specific cutoff scores for the BBA program are not explicitly mentioned in the provided context, the general trend indicates that the cutoff rank for the general category is around 180-230 out of 250 in the CUET exam. For SC/ST candidates, the cutoff might range from 150-200, and for other reserved categories, it could be around 120-170. These are general guidelines and actual cutoffs may vary.
