You can try for admission in other good private universities like Lovely, Manav rachna, etc too, their Arts and Humanities departments are very good. Lovely even offers scholarship on basis of previous qualification.

Students who complete Sectin B of AMIE in various branches such as CSE, Electrical, Mechanical etc are equated equal to B.Tech for all Central & State Governments, PSU, Military and Paramilitary jobs. AMIE graduates may face some hadicap in Private sector jobs particularly in IT industry. However, if such candidates have good engineering skills they can overcome their handicap with experience.

B.Tech is formal education but AMIE is education by distance learning or self learning. Because f which, B.Tech has edge over AMIE graduation in job market.
