Basic qualification is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subjects. You can choose B.Tech in Aerospace engineering. There are entrance exams, which will decide the seat allotment. Another option is B.Sc. Physics with Astronomy or astrophysics specialisation and then M.Sc. and go on to do Ph.D. with astronomy or astrophysics specialisation.

Hello Tarun,
The career after doing Ph.D. in astronomy is that the Indian Institute of Astronomers and several other astronomical institutions offer the job opportunity as Junior Research Scientist after completing the course successfully. Later in future after experience and achievements job opportunities are available with famous government institutes like DRDO and ISRO.
Hope this helps you.
Thanks

M.Sc. in Astrophysics will be better option to pursue. As you have already done Physics, so you will be eligible for it. Diploma will not be much helpful. Regular B.Sc. will have more benefits.
