It is suggested that you complete your diploma and seek lateral entry in branch of your choice in second year of engineering. You can try Anna University for lateral entry into Automobile Engineering.

Automobile is a very good stream to get admission as it will provide you a great career in top Automobile company which is a dream job of any mechanical Engineer but i would like to recommend you to select the university cautiously as in this stream along with technical skills one also need to boost your practical ideas .here are some of the colleges where you can get admission by availing high scholarship:
1.Lovely Professional University
2.Symbiosis International University
3.IIT

If you have a minimum of 60% in PCM, then you are eligible to apply. The department of Automobile Engineering has very good industry links and has established Labs with support form industries like TAFE, Ford and Bosch. It has produced mere 100% placements in top notch companies such as Ashokleyland, Renault, Royal Enfield and so on.Very few seats are available, proceed with payment of application and tuition fee if not done.
