Online programs in aviation maintenance typically lead to either an associate or Bachelor's degree. In both programs, students gain a general education in science, math and business, as well as learn about aircraft structures and systems. Some, but not all, online aviation maintenance programs require students to complete hands-on training experiences either on-campus or at a designated location. Online aviation maintenance degree programs require a high school Diploma or equivalent for admission.
