To be eligible for the B.A. programme at Akal University, you generally need to have passed your 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate, with a 55% aggregate for SC/ST and persons with disability categories. All state board and CBSE board student can apply for this course.

Candidates seeking BA admission at IUST must necessarily meet the course-specific eligibility criteria specified by the university. The eligibility criteria depend on the choice of specialisation. The course-wise eligibility requirements for BA admission at the university are as follows:

  • Candidates seeking admission to a BA in Journalism & Mass Communication must have scored at least 50% in Class 12 from a recognised board
  • For all other specialisations, candidates must have scored an aggregate of 45% or more in Class 12 from a recognised board
  • A relaxation of 5% on the minimum required aggregate is provided to candidates from reserved cat

Candidates must be Class 12 or equivalent pass to be eligible for admission in Christ University Bangalore BA course in Communication and Media, English. The qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board. Students must hold the pass certificates as well. The Class 12 mark sheet or pass certificate (original or copies) have to be submitted to the university for verification purposes.
