Most of the colleges put the criteria of minimum 45% or 50% marks in class 12th (any stream) for the admission in B.A. It depends on their policy. You may search related colleges, however, government colleges generally put the cut-off for admission.

It is the policy of the university itself that what they include in a course as a subject. If physical education is there then you can opt for this subject.

If the subject in which you have got compartment was a additional one than there is no barrier for you to apply. But if it was your main subject, you need to clear your compartment with good marks. Otherwise, your admission in the college will not be valid and would be canceled.

You will be eligible to be a part of print media (newspaper /magazine etc), electronic media (radio /TV) and internet media. There is always a cut off that DU pass every year. What is the current status of the cut off is not in my knowledge. However, I think it is above 60%. More you can take help of the college website.
