For B.A. (Hons. ). Economics in AMU:
Eligibility criteria: Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with at least 50% marks
in aggregate of English and three Subjects from amongst Accountancy, Arabic, Banking, Biology, Biotechnology, Business organisation, Business Studies, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, Fine Arts, Geography, Hindi, History, Home Science, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Persian, Philosophy, Physical Health
Education, Physics, Political Science /Civics, Psychology, Sanskrit, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu and Modern Indian Languages (Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi
and Kashmir). Or
Degree/Sanad from recognised Madarsa/Institution with at least 50% marks (as given in
Table IX)
or
Bridge Course (for Graduates of Deeni Madaris) from AMU with at least 50% marks
Selection Process: Through Admission Test. Test Paper Details : There shall be one objective type paper of 100 marks with the following components:
a) English : 25 Marks
b) Indo-Islamic Culture and Aligarh Movement : 25 Marks
c) General Awareness and Current Affairs : 40 Marks
d) Reasoning and Intelligence : 10 Marks
Test Schedule :
On 07-04-2019 for 2 hours starting from 4:00 PM. Additional Information:
A. There shall be a Combined Admission Test for admission to B.A. (Hons. ). In the
faculty members of Arts and Social Sciences. B. Candidates selected for admission to B.A. (Hons. ). Course shall be allocated only the
Main Subject based on their performance in the Admission Test. Subsidiary subjects
shall be alloted at the time of admission, subject to the options available. Application Form Details:
