BA Economics is a pure art branch of knowledge. The course is studied as part of the Bachelor of Arts programme. On the other hand, B.Sc Economics is completed as part of the Bachelor of Science programme. This is one of the main differences between B.Sc Economics and BA Economics. B.Sc Economics have some additional subjects like mathematics and statistics when compared to BA Economics. There are practical sessions for students too in the field of applied Economics. This kind of practical sessions are absents in BA Economics.

You can expect both corporate and government jobs. If you are interested in teaching/ research field then you can prepare for NET exam to have a fruitful career path. You can also grab a job in both government and private sectors like investment analyst, finance analyst, data analyst, market researcher, statistician, stock broker, actuarial analyst and government economic services. MBA in finance is an add-on option to enter into the corporate world easily.

If you are interested in the teaching field, then you can pursue B.Ed. There are various fields, if you pursue MA after completing BA, I think MA will be a better option for you. After completing MA, you can pursue B.Ed too.

50% is minimum for general category students and 45% is required for reserved category students. If you have teaching experience, then you may be preferred. So, you can try accordingly.

B.A. Course itself is not available in North East Hill University.

Your Passport size photographs (atleast 2), ID proof, Class 10th Board Exam Certificate, Class 12th Certificate
Provision Certificate, character certificate and
Migration Certificate.

Hello Abhishek, there is no criteria as such. The online registration for all UG courses will be open from last week of May to the second week of June 2019. Anyone from any stream or field can apply for B.A(H). It is a merit-based course. You must be updated with the news of DU admission and should apply as soon as the forms are out. After you fill, weeks later colleges will release cut off lists for various courses.
