For pursuing Bachelors of Arts from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, one needs to appear for B.A. Entrance Test (BAT)
A. Programme is offered by TISS from Tuljapur, Hyderabad & Guwahati campuses.
APPLICATION PROCESS
*Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should apply for the programme only through an online process by visiting the admissions link on the TISS website.

To pursue any post graduate course, you have to score above 55% in your graduation. You can visit the private university which offer post graduate courses above 45% as the percentage. Most of the government universities and colleges have minimum criteria for applying for a post graduate course i.e. above 55%. So, there is no chance to get admitted in a government university. So, go for any private university. So, you can prepare for government exams on the basis of the graduation level.

The B.Ed programme requires graduation in Arts/ Science or Engineering with 50% (45% for SC/ST/PWD) from a recognized university. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination in 2015, 2016 or appearing /appeared in 2018 are also eligible to apply for BA-B.Ed and B.Sc-B.Ed courses.

Honours is basically you doing a specialisation in a particular subject like English, History, Sociology, etc. While a Pass is a general graduation with a limited focus on a few subjects. But in a normal degree, you will usually study 2-4 different subjects in equal amounts and not specialize in any one.
