Pearl Academy has Merit and Need-based scholarships for students. The Pearl Academy scholarship details are mentioned below:
Merit-cum-Means Scholarships are provided to first-year UG and PG students. As per the norms, the partial tuition fee of students is waived off. Students are divided into two categories:
- Category 1:50 per cent tuition fee waiver
- Category 2:25 per cent tuition fee waiver
Candidates are required to meet the below-mentioned eligibility criteria:
- Annual income of parents should be less than INR 8 LPA
- A minimum of 55 per cent marks in Class 12
- Performance in the entrance test
- Preference is given to single parents
Merit Scholarship is awarded to the meritorious students progressing to L1, L2 and L3 of 4-year UG programmes and second year of PG programmes. Partial tuition fee is provided to the students under this scheme, 60 per cent of the tuition fee only for the current academic year is waived off. Students meeting the below-mentioned criteria can only apply for this scholarship:
- A minimum of 70 per cent marks are required in the previous academic year at Pearl
- No disciplinary proceedings against the proposed awardee
Means Scholarship is provided to deserving students, who belong to a weak economic background. They are divided into two categories:
- Category 1: In total, 70 per cent tuition fee is waived off
- Category 2: In total, 50 per cent tuition fee is waived off
Students are required to satisfy the below-mentioned criteria:
- Total parental income should be less than Rs 8 LPA
- Preference is given to the wards of single parents

Tuition fee for BDes in Symbiosis Institite of Design, Pune is around INR 4.5 Lacs per year whereas it is more than INR 7.5 Lacs in Pearl Academy, Delhi (New Friends Colony). Thus, SID Pune has lower fee in comparison.
