Every department is better in their own way. Selection of department depends completely on a person's preference. Bachelors of design is a 4-year course in which the first year is the foundation programme which is common for all department. From the second year, the specialisation starts. If one is interested in designing clothes and fabrics, he/she should opt for Fashion Design/Textile Design/Knitwear Design. If one is interested in Graphic designing, photography, fashion journalism then he/she should opt fashion communication. No, NIFT doesn't provide Bachelor of Design Degree in Interior Designing. But you can go for fashion and lifestyle accessories (F & LA) as it includes homes decor and relative designing. NIFT provides you a B.Design degree in F & LA which is a 4 year course.

It can range from 3 lakhs per annum to 4 to 5 lakhs per annum approx. in the starting stage. Rest depends on how you are growing and learning to perform better. Chose your company wisely. You yourself will understand what is your interest and passion after studying and learning all these 4 years of curriculum and can mould your career accordingly. But make sure to be specific, figure out that thing which you can do best of.

Yes they have. Also, there is a common entrance for all the design programmes. Maths, English, GK and creative (drawing based) questions are asked.

Dear,
I would like to correct the information and there will be 3 hours creative test and in that you have to make a sketch or drawing on given topics and plus English test which will check your grammar.
