It is certainly hard to say. It depends on the college you study from and where do you gets and which country do you get placed in.

1. Farooqia Women's Polytechnic
2. Queens school of design
Above mentioned are two institutes which are located in Mysore to impart design courses.

Architecture and Design, although appear to be similar, require different skill sets and abilities from their students. Design requires more innovative thinking and creativity while architecture requires similar traits, a higher level of technical knowledge and skills of sciences is a required. So I would suggest that you figure out where your interests lie and accordingly find colleges suited for you.
