B.Ed is a course that is mandatory for those who are willing to join regular and standard Teaching at Schools. It is also a mandatory requirement of Government Jobs and shall remain an integral condition of the selection process. B.Ed. Is offered in Two Modes these days. Regular Mode which used to be an ONE Year course has turned into TWO YEARS now and is offered in each state by universities and their affiliated colleges as well. Admission to the Regular Courses is done on Entrance+Counselling organized Centralised. DISTANCE MODE B.Ed. Has some conditions for Admission. In Job Teachers/Experienced Teachers or already JBT Holders are eligible to do this. It is to be noted that Regular Mode is the Best Way if you are not an In-Service Teacher. If you are in Job then find out the University around you or anywhere you can apply basis your experience of Job. A Certificate from the School may also be needed for admission.

CTET forms are closed right now for the 2018, you can go for 2019. The CTET exam is conducted by central board of secondary education to determine the eligibility criteria of the candidates who want to get a job in the CBSE affiliated schools as a teacher. CTET is a certificate test means after clearing the CTET exam one is provided an eligible certificate through which you can apply in any government or private CBSE School. And, based on the vacancy and your performance in the interview, you will be selected as a teacher in one of the CBSE affiliated schools. So, if you want to go for the CBSE teacher profession then, yes, it is necessary to sit for the CTET examination and clear it with more than minimum cut-off marks. Forms are available online.
