Merit Screening
Admission is based on the marks obtained in graduation.
Eligibility:
(a) Upper Primary and Secondary school teachers who are in service as a full-time teacher for at least two years at the time of making application and who shall continue to be in service during the entire duration of the programme.
(b) The applicants with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's degree and be in the Postgraduate degree in Sciences/Humanities/Social Sciences or Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with a background/specialization in Science and Mathematics with 50%

Candidates with at least fifty (50) percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
The following categories are eligible to be the students of B.Ed (ODL):
(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education (or);
(ii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
