Social studies or social science comprises different subjects i.e History , Geography and Political science (class 6th to class 8th ) and for class 9th and class 10th, economics is also added. So, if you have sufficient knowledge in any of the above subject, you can be a teacher for social studies. But, you need to make yourself updated about recent changes and information.

No, it is not possible for you to appear in any TET without B.Ed or any other diploma. Either one or both of them are compulsory for TET.

For doing B.Ed minimum 50% is compulsory everywhere, but if you belong to general category then you can apply for B.Ed. You can apply in any university as these universities are equivalent.

You can pursue B.Ed, after doing B.Sc (agriculture), as minimum qualification for B.Ed is to finish graduation with 50% marks or it may vary.

B.Ed is better than NTT or Basic Teaching Training. It will open more avenues and broad avenues for you. If you have done B.Ed, you can go from pre-primary to senior but with NTT or BTC, you are only eligible for primary section. So, B.Ed is better.

Hi,
B.Ed course was last altered in 2014. After that Undergraduate and Post Graduate courses have not really seen any big change which is not a good thing. Changing or modification is necessary for better development of the world. As the competition level goes higher so changing the course is a quite better decision. This promises that our future teachers learn the better way of teaching, how to express better in front of students and how to motivate them. If they are trained according to the new trends then they would give right education to the students which would really be helpful.

Hello,
This is another interesting query. Fundamentally, it means doing two courses simultaneously. Of course, it can be done. But the issue is not only theoretical possibility. Its actually question of ability to find time for studies for two different courses. But then, one can save on time. Even to the extent of as much as two years. Say Masters in subject of graduation and B.Ed. Surely, one can pursue this arrangement. Career prospects too are enhanced since teacher with PG+B Ed can go places as compared with teacher with only Graduation + B.Ed.Some positions demand serving for a certain period in particular position. PG + B.Ed. wil
