Hi Pushpa, A Master's Degree in Library Science / Information Science / documentation with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade of B in UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record. Ii. At least 13 years as a Deputy Librarian in a University library or 18 years experience as a college Librarian. Hope this helps!

Pcm combination you mean, Physics Maths and Chemistry. Yes, it is there. However few additions are there in the latest education system, where you can make one as the mainstream, depending on your goal of education.

You must Pass any graduation with 50 percent marks or passed a graduation degree with a Diploma in library Science. As blis is of only 1 year UG programme so you must have your Bachelor degree or Diploma already to ally in blis. Admission to BLIS is merit-based. Bachelor of Library and Information Science course by IGNOU is of 1year duration but can be completed in a maximum of 4 years. It is a distance learning, online course offered by IGNOU. UGC has approved a proposal to allow students to pursue two degree programmes at the same time. One of the degrees has to be in the regular mode and the other either in open and distance learning or online. So don't worry you can do B.Ed and blis together.

Dear kopal it all depends on interest. If you are interested in industry oriented jobs then go for B.Tech
If you want to go for academics then do B.Sc. And then higher studies. If you want a government. Job then you can either do B.Sc. Or B.A. Course to get a degree.
