B.Sc Eligibility

Passed 10+2 in Science Stream or any equivalent examination with any three subjects from amongst Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Information Technology with an aggregate of 50% marks and above. Applicants who wish to avail admission to the programme of B.Sc. (Hons. ). Biotechnology have to fulfill the required criteria set by the university. Those who seek admission are required to qualify their 10+2 examination with minimum aggregate of 50% marks in either subject of three subjects from amongst Mathematics, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry or Biology at the intermediate level. Applicants are further required to clear the entrance examination held by the various reputed university for admission to B.Sc. (Hons. ). In Biotechnology. The admission to the programme is done on the basis of final merit list which is computed calculating the marks obtained in the entrance examination and 10+2 examination. The merit list cut-off will differ for different institutions.
