After completing B.Tech in mechanical engineering, several opportunities can be grabbed such as UPSE, UPSE IES, private sectors jobs, PSUs through GATE, etc. If you do B.Sc in Mathematics from a reputed college like IISc, ISI, etc., then you can do M.Sc, MCA, MBA, etc.

I am not sure if B.Sc mathematics students can opt for M.Sc pharmacy but a big yes to MCA. You can go for it if you really like computer, coding and computing. I think there is an entrance exam to be cleared for opting MCA.
