That is, 2022 and 2023: Companies That Came to the Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC University) to Visit for B.Tech Civil Engineering Placement Record
There was tremendous response from companies pouring in for the placement drives conducted by Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC University) for B.Tech Civil Engineering.
While about 70 of them came in to the campus for placements in 2022 at the end of the drive, the number kept on counting up to about 80 in 2023.

DAV University in Jalandhar offers a B.Tech in Civil Engineering with a focus on quality education and practical skills. The Corporate Resource Centre (CRC) of the university is very proactive in student placement, and the placement rate is very high in all disciplines. Placement Opportunities for B.Tech Civil Engineering in Seacom Skills University
Seacom Skills University provides space for placement to B.Tech Civil Engineering students.

In order to be considered eligibile to opt for BTech Civil Engineering, you need to pursue 10 + 2 with minimum aggregate of 50% (for general candidates) and 40% (for SC/ST/OBC etc.) and clear cutoff scores for any one of following entrance exams:
- JEE Mains
- JEE Advanced
- AP EAMCET
- KCET
- KEAM
- MHT CET
You can also directly enroll yourself into BTech Civil Engineering without giving any of these exams. Some private universities offer direct enrollment into course on basis of Class 12 board exam marks.

Both fields are different and unique in their own way, and offer a wide range of opportunities to the students who pursue these courses.
While CSE mainly focuses in Computer Programming, Civil emphasises on development of huge infrastructures/buildings and one can decide according to their interest and comfort.
