A lot of B Tech Civil Engineering colleges and universities admit students taking into consideration their Class 12 marks and take extra rounds like the GD or PI in such cases. Having said that, most of the top Civil Engineering colleges in India provide admission on the basis of valid entrance test scores.
The IITs and the NITs need valid JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores, for giving admission to students to the BTech Civil Engg. course.
