Hello! With a GMR rank of 2255 in WBJEE 2024, getting admission to the Civil Engineering branch at Jadavpur University might be a bit challenging. Jadavpur University is one of the top institutions in West Bengal, and the cutoff for the Civil Engineering branch is typically high.
However, as you are from Bihar, it's important to note that Jadavpur University reserves a certain percentage of seats for out-of-state candidates, and this might give you a slightly better chance. Still, the cutoff for the Civil Engineering branch in recent years has been quite competitive, often in the range of 1000-1500 for general category students.

That is, 2022 and 2023: Companies That Came to the Chandigarh Group of Colleges to Visit for B.Tech Civil Engineering Placement Record
There was tremendous response from companies pouring in for the placement drives conducted by Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) for B.Tech Civil Engineering.
While about 70 of them came in to the campus for placements in 2022 at the end of the drive, the number kept on counting up to about 80 in 2023.
