There are a lot of popular colleges in India from where candidates can pursue B.Tech Civil Engineering course.

IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) are considered as hub for pursuing BTech courses. IIT Madras having NIRF Ranking 1 is considered to be best college in India for B.Tech Civil Engineering. Other popular choices include NIT Trichy, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, DTU, VIT Vellore, etc.

While it mainly depends on your personal choice, pursuing an M.Tech/MBA after completing your B.Tech can boost your career as it provides you an edge over other candidates.

It has been observed that candidates having a post graduation degree are preferred in the long run and a PG course opens up a vast range of opportunities for them which helps them grow and achieve greater heights of success in life. Rest, it is your choice whether to pursue a post graduation degree after completing B.Tech Civil Engg or not.

The latest cutoff information for B.tech Civil Engineering at School of Engineering and Technology NIU are following - For general category the cutoff rank was 46,533 to 59,226, whereas for Ews category it was 11208 and for SC ST category students the rank was 19,832 to 22842. 

Information about the admission process - Eligible students need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the University. Shortlisted students will be called for Personal Interview based on marks obtained in Entrance test. Candidates are selected based on the marks obtained in the entrance test and performance in personal interview.
