B.Tech Eligibility

You have to pass Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects to get eligible for the B.E./B.Tech programs in KIT College of Engineering, Kolhapur. For the open category, you need an aggregate of at least 45% and for the reserved category, you must get at least 40%. You have to pass one of MHT CET or JEE Main, or both. Aggregate marks should be minimum 50% in the subjects, Physics, Mathematics, and one optional subject out of Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science. Candidates also have to meet the eligibility criteria required for the relevant entrance examination - either JEE Main or state level depending upon the institute's admission process. The students must have secured a minimum percentage as indicated with aggregate marks of 45% in the qualifying exams which is relaxed to 40% in the case of the SC/ST candidates.
