B.Tech Eligibility

For admission to BTech at UEM Kolkata, candidates must fulfil the basic educational qualification as per the course requirements. Interested candidates must pass Class 10 and Class 12 with minimum 70% aggregate. They must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in Class 12. This eligibility criteria is common for all BTech specialisations. Also, candidates must hold a good score in IEMJEE examination for admission.

Candidates seeking admission to the BTech course at Sri Venkateswara University must take an entrance exam. The university accepts the scores of various national and state-level entrance exams. The exams are AP EAMCET and AP ECET. Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria too. The criteria is that the candidate must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or Telangana.

Candidate should have passed the 12th standard from a recognised board with a certain percentage depending upon the university. Candidates applying for IIIT's need to qualify the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE mains)

Such candidates will be eligible for application in either of the programmes via TMISAT, if you are less than 21 years as on date of commencement of the course of the year of admission and you have secured at least 60% marks in PCM group in 10+2 exam.

To be declared fit for selection via TMISAT, a candidate must be in good mental and physical health and free from any deficiency likely to interfere with the efficient performance of duties.
