IIT Bhubaneswar BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Fee, Admission, Eligibility, Dates, Cutoff, Placements

The IIT Bhubaneswar BTech course admissions are entrance based. Candidates who wish to get admissions into the BTech course are required to appear for the JEE Mains entrance exam before IIT Bhubaneswar admissions. STEP 1: Registration for the JEE Entrance Exam

The first step of the IIT Bhubaneswar admission process is to register for the JEE Main entrance exams. To register for the JEE Mains entrance exams, candidates must visit the official NTA portal for the JEE Mains entrance exam and follow the steps below:

Step 1.1: Find the anniuncement circular for the JEE entrance exam commencement and follow the links and guidelines provided.

Step 1.2: Fill in the JEE registration form with your personal and qualifying details. After that, attach all necessary documents.

Step 1.3: Pay the JEE registration fee which is INR 500. The IIT Bhubaneswar BTech application fee is the same as JEE registration fee

During the registration process mentioned above, candidates may need the following documents:

• Certificates along with mark sheets of both Class 10 & 12
• Proof of both ID and address
• Passport-size photographs
• Character certificate
• Migration certificate
• Domicile certificate
• Attested copies of birth certificate and last qualifying examination
• Attested copies of any other necessary document required (SC/ ST/ OBC certificate etc.)

STEP 2: IIT Bhubaneshwar BTech Admissions and The JoSAA Counseling Rounds

Once the candidates have cleared the JEE Mains exam, they will be called for the JoSAA counseling rounds. Candidates arerequired to lock their choice of campus during the JoSAA counseling rounds where, they will be alloted seats accordingly. Candidates who clear the JoSAA rounds will be proceeded to the final admission stage.

STEP 3: Confirmation of Admissions

Candidates are alloted a seat in the BTech courses at IIT Bhubaneswar after the JoSAA counseling rounds will need to pay the BTech admission fee to confirm their allotment. Typically, the first instalment of tuition fee is the admission fees for BTech courses. The total tuition fee at IIT Bhubaneswar ranges between INR 8 lakh - INR 10 lakh in 2025.
