Aspirants must meet the merit based eligibility criteria to secure admission to BTech programme at University of Lucknow. Apart from that, aspirants must qualify the necessary entrance exam to secure the final admission. Asiprants must have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 55% to be eligible for admission. In addition, student should have passed the qualifying examination from a recognised board. Candidate must also hold the Class 12 mark sheet during application form filling and at the time of admission for verification purposes.

IIT Dhanbad accepts admission based on the scoring in JEE Main and JEE Advanced entrance exams followed by JoSAA counselling. This is the only criterion for admission to a BTech course at IITs. Candidates shall check the eligibility conditions carefully. In order to apply, students need to fill out JEE Main application form.

To be eligible for Indian Institute of Information Technology Surat’s BTech programme, a candidate must pass Class 12 from a recognised board with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects and one out of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational as an optional subject with a minimum of 75% aggregate.

The National Institute of Technology Patna offers a four-year full-time BTech course, covering several specialisations. To apply for the NIT Patna BTech course, candidates must have valid JEE Main scores. Apart from the entrance test score, students also need to fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the exam conducting body - NTA. NIT Patna BTech eligibility is a Class 12 pass with a minimum aggregate of 75%. Aspirants must also hold the relevant documents as a proof of eligibility.

At the UG level, the College offers a full-time BTech programme in 11 different specialisations. The entire duration of BTech is divided into eight semesters, each year consisting of two semesters. Punjab University offers a four-year BE programme across eight specialisations along with an Integrated BE (Chemical) - MBA programme. Admission to both programmes is based on JEE Main. To add, the university also conducts and considers the scores of  PU LEET and PU MEET scores for lateral entry admissions. The minimum eligibility for BE and Integrated courses is Class 12 with PCM subjects from a recognised board as per JAC Chandigarh eligibility criteria. All the affiliated colleges of Panjab University offering BTech are part of JAC Chandigarh counselling.

For Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gorakhpur University BTech admissions, candidates need to clear the entrance exam. The entrance exams accepted include DDUGU entrance exam and JEE Main. Moreover, candidates should also have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 60% aggregate. Additionally, the fee for BTech admissions is around INR 4 lakh.

Failure in Biology in your class 12th year could make it difficult for you to get into regular B.Tech programs since PCM is frequently the desired set of studies. In general, B.Tech programs do not require biology, and many engineering universities do not count it as a requirement for admission.

The eligibility criteria for the B.Tech. course at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial College of Engineering and Management (SRMCM) are as follows:

  • The candidate should have passed the 10+2 examination or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects.
