Although admission to BE/ BTech programme at TIET is conducted through JEE Main.  Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology accepts JEE Main scores as well as merit for admisison to the BE/ BTech courses. Based on the JEE Main score and Class 12 scores, candidates are then called for the TIET Counselling process. Admissions for vacant seats (if any) in subsequent rounds of counselling is done based on All India rank (AIR) of JEE Main 2023 as a tie breaker. Check below the BTech eligibility criteria at Amity Raipur:

  • A pass in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects can apply for Amity Raipur BTech course.
  • Aspirants need to pass Class 12 with PCM/ PCB to apply for BTech Biotechnology.
  • Candidates must complete Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate and PCM with at least 55% aggregate to apply for BTech CSE International course.

Candidates passing Class 12 with at least 80% aggregate are eligible for direct admission to BTech course.

The eligibility criteria for the BTech course at College Of Engineering & Management is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 45% aggregate. The College Of Engineering & Management BTech admissions is entrance-based.

The eligibility criteria of B.Arch and B.Tech are the same. But the entrance exams are different. Like JEE Main Paper-2 and NATA entrance scores are for B.Arch admission, while JEE Main paper-1 is for B Tech admission. So you can't get admission in B.Tech on the basis of NATA and JEE Main paper-2 scores. But can get admission in B.Tech on the basis of 12th marks. So approach the colleges offering B Tech admission on the basis of 12th marks.
