The eligibility criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Technology in Agricultural Engineering (BTech) offered by PAU are as follows.
• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks cumulatively.
• Candidates must pass the 10+2 examination with the mandatory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Candidates must qualify in the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) followed by counseling conducted by the PAU.

Yes, you are eligible to take admission to B.Tech if you have completed a three-year diploma program in any engineering stream.
You can apply for lateral entry in the second year of the B.Tech course.
However, you also need to meet the minimum marks requirement for the B.Tech course you are interested in. Different colleges may have different cut-off marks for diploma holders.

- Candidate must have studied Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subject and Chemistry/ Computer Science/ Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/ Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship with 45 precent marks in the above subject taken together from any recognised Board/council.

RGPV Bhopal offers four-year BE and BTech programmes under several specialisations. RGPV BE and BTech admissions are based on a candidate’s score in JEE Main, followed by DTE MP Counselling. To apply for the BTech programme, a candidate must fulfil the basic eligibility criteria.
