B.Tech Eligibility

Banaras Hindu University offers a four-year full-time BTech course at the undergraduate level. Candidates seeking admission to BHU BTech course must have passed Class 12 or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology (PCMB) with English with a minimum 50% aggregate. Apart from the eligibility criteria mentioned here, candidates are also required to appear for the CUET-UG entrance exam to be eligible for BHU BTech admission 2023. 

The selection process at RAIT for BTech is entirely entrance-based. Students are required to qualify JEE Main with a valid score to secure a seat for BTech at Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology.  RAIT selects students based on their rank in JEE Main (Paper 1) or score in MHTCET.

A minimum of Class 12 is required to apply for BE/ BTech programmes. Check below the BTech eligibility criteria for SSRIT Chennai:

• A pass in HSC examination is required to apply for the BE/ BTech courses.
• Candidates should also satisfy other eligibility rules as prescribed by the Anna University and Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Tamil Nadu.
• HSc of vocational stream (vocational groups in Engineering/ Technology) as prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Glocal University BTech admission is based on a candidate's score in JEE Main. The course duration for the programme is four years which comprises eight semesters. The University offers seven specialisations under its BTech programme. Currently, JoSAA has announced the JEE Main 2023 counselling seat allotment results for rounds 1, 2, 3 and 4. As per the results, candidates can use the JEE Main Predictor 2023 to know where they can get admission.

The eligibility criteria for LNCT University BTech CSE course is that candidates should have passed Class 12 with PCM from a recognised board. Moreover, the selection process include a valid score in JEE Main. The duration of the course is for four years. Eligible students can apply online by visiting the official website.

Saraswati College of Engineering offers BTech courses across 8 specialisations. Students seeking admission for the BTech courses at Saraswati College of Engineering are required to have a minimum aggregate of 45% in class 12 from a recognised board. Furthermore, students are also required to qualify MH CET with a valid score to secure a seat in Saraswati College of Engineering under BTech. 

MVJ College of Engineering provides a wide variety of specialisations in BTech. Candidates who wish to apply must meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:

The eligibility criteria for BTech admissions at NIT Sikkim is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75% aggregate. Moreover, the duration of the course is for four years. Additionally, the fees for the BTech course range between INR 5 Lacs - INR 5.35 lakh. The entrance exams accepted include JEE Main.

A pass in Class 12 examination with a minimum of 60% aggregate or equivalent (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) and at least 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) or equivalent grade in any three subjects taken together (Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics/ CS/ Electronics/ IT/ Biology/ informatics Practice/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subjects/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship) with individual pass marks in both practical and theory and pass marks in English is required to apply for BTech course.
