If you have got the desired number 1 choice in the first round of counseling and you are happy with the allotted branch, then you can choose to "freeze your branch" option to secure your admission. If you cracked UPSC ESE then definitely join as IES. Or if you are preparing then give both GATE and UPSC ESE your first priority should be IES then any PSU job.

DU does not offers B.Tech, but one of its Department Cluster Innovation Centre offers B.Tech (Information Technology and Mathematical Innovations). You have to apply separately for the Entrance Exam for B.Tech. So fill that form, if you haven't already. They have 75% in 12th as eligibility criteria for the Entrance Exam but amid the Covid Pandemic, they might give some relaxation. Keep Updated on DU website for more information.

You first have to clear JEE Mains, with a good percentile. If you're from outside Delhi quota and aiming for computer engineering then as good as 99.5 percentile. You can have advantage if you have Delhi quota. All the best.

Candidates seeking admission in B.Tech course must have passed 10+2 examination in relevant field.
Selection to B.Tech is done on the basis of JEE Main score followed by Online Counseling conducted by NIFTEM.
Closing cutt off rank is around 65728.
