B.Tech Eligibility

Being LPU alumni, I would share the eligibility of the course. Pass with 60% aggregate marks in Diploma (engineering. ). (any stream) 3 years after 10th or 2 years after 10+2 (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Non-Medical) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. LPU makes perfect sense for lateral entry as it ensures the following programme outcomes:
1: Effectively build and communicate the solutions using learnings from basic mechanical engineering, basic sciences, mathematics, and computational skills and tools.
2: Ability to design using Design of Machine Elements theories and to create prototypes using relevant manufacturing technology.
3: Capability of building efficient energy conversion systems using a basic understanding of Thermodynamics Heat transfer and Fluid Mechanics.

As per the eligibility, students have to Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Chemistry English and Mathematics or Biology or Biotechnology) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. In this case, if had Biology in +2, THEN YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR B.Tech Biotechnology. If you are looking for the best university for B.Sc.
