You need to apply for the JEE Mains after your class 12th exams. The B.Tech admissions 2018 in all the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) and other State Engineering Colleges and Private Colleges will be done on the basis of JEE Mains Score. The exam was introduced in the year of 2013 under the One-Nation-One-Test norm of HRD Ministry. Regards.

Yes, you have heard correctly. Placements for aeronautical engineers is a bit on the lower side and especially for core job. Even an alumni of IIT Mumbai in this branch could not make career in this but is now CEO of Infosys. This tells us that if you have will, you will succeed. Branch does not matter.

Now, if you have lost interest in coding, you can surely try to develop your skills in management field too. If you wish too, that will eventually increase your chances of getting a good placement.

Australia is awesome in terms of education, and duration is 3 years rather than 4 years. To gain entry into an Australian undergraduate course, you need to have class 12th passing certificate. Almost all programmes require a score of IELTS exam, which must not have been taken 24 months before the day of the application and should be more recent. Students should have a minimum IELTS score of 6 and at least 60 in class 12th board exam. Scholarships are available to Indian students.
