Eligibility criteria for B.Tech courses at Rajasthan University Applicants must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 55 percent marks from a recognised school or board. The duration of the course is 3 to 5 years. The total Tuition Fee for Bachelor of Technology courses is INR 3.38 Lacs. Rajasthan University was established in the year of 1977. For Admission to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology)/ B.Tech. (Food Technology): Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) subjects are essential at 10+2 level. Candidate with 10+2 Arts and Commerce stream are not eligible for JET Examination.
Candidate may attempt any three subjects in JET examination out of the above five. But those who want admission to B.Tech. (Dairy Technology) and B.Tech. (Food Technology) do not have any choice and must attempt only PCM (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics).

IIT Jammu seat allotment process is carried out based on applicants JEE Main qualification and JEE Advanced scores. The Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu follows the reservation policy as prescribed by the Government of India for the following categories:
- SC
- ST
- OBC-NCL
- EWS
- Persons with Disability (PwD)

Indian Institute of Technology, Jammu has a total seat intake of 320 for its BTech programmes. The seat intake for each of the offered course specialisation is 40. Candidates are admitted to the BTech programmes based on their JEE Advanced scores and as per the sanctioned seat intake. The mentioned seat count is as per the official website/sanctioning body. For admission to a BTech course at IIT Jammu, the aspirants need to appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced examination conducted by NTA. Following the entrance test, the cutoff list is published by the authorities. Candidates who meet the cutoff score need to participate in the JoSAA counselling. In this round, seat allotment process is carried based on applicants filled in choices. After final seat allotment, students need to report at the institute and pay admission fee amount to secure their seat.
