FET MRIIRS has not yet released the official placement data for the BTech courses. However, the institute’s NIRF report 2023 has been released. As per that, a total of 427 BTech students were placed during the 2022 placements. Further, the median package offered to BTech students stood at INR 4 LPA.

NCERC KEAM Cutoff 2024 was released for Round 1 for BTech admission. The cutoff was released for different categories under the HS quota. For the General HS category candidates, the cutoff ranks ranged between 29420 and 51241. The most competitive course for the General HS category was BTech in CSE. During the IIT Dhanbad JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, BTech in Computer Science and Engineering had the highest cutoff. The Last Round closing ranks ranged between 3846 and 16011 for students from the General AI quota. In the first round, the IIT Dhanbad CSE 2024 cutoff was 3594. Due to the cutoff, IIT Dhanbad- (ISM Dhanbad) BTech course was the most competitive to get admission to.

In B.Tech CSE, an average of 90% of students are placed while In B.Tech Electrical Engineering, the average placement rate is 75%.
