Maharaja Institute of Technology, Mysore accepts COMEDK scores for admission to the BE/BTech courses. As per the Round 2 of the COMEDK cutoff 2024, the ranks ranged between 77387 and 99974 wherein B.E. in Mechanical Engineering was the most competitive specialisation. So yes, candidates with a cutoff rank up to 91758 can get admission at Maharaja Institute of Technology.

Sir M Visvesvaraya Institute Of Technology, Bangalore accepts COMEDK scores for admission to the BE/BTech courses. As per the Round 2 of the COMEDK cutoff 2024, the ranks ranged between 12691 and 91674 wherein B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive specialisation. So yes, candidates with a cutoff rank up to 15010 can get admission at SIR MVIT.

PES Institute of Technology and Management accepts COMEDK scores for admission to the BE/BTech courses. As per the Round 2 of the COMEDK cutoff 2024, the ranks ranged between 54016 and 100785, wherein B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning was the most competitive specialisation. So yes, candidates with a cutoff rank of up to 5000 can get admission at PESITM in AI and Machine Learning.

Central University of Haryana accepts JEE Main entrance exam scores for admissio to BTech courses. During the Central University of Haryana JEE Mains cutoff 2024, the cutoff ranged between 87659 and 483320 wherein, CSE was the most competitive BTech specialisation. The easiest BTech course to get into CUH was BTech in Printing and Packaging Technology for the General AI category students. Yes, you can shift your branch in engineering for M. Tech after doing B. Tech. This  is sometimes referred to as “branch switching”.

In India, many universities and institutes allow students to pursue M. Tech in a different branch than their B. Tech,If they meet certain conditions:

1. Eligibility criteria: Ensure passing standard academic requirements for M. Tech, for instance,; GATE Score; Work experience; or etc.

2. Entrance exams: Obtain high scores in the standardized tests such as GATE or any other test that the university may offer could either be subject or aptitude.

Yes, Bennett University has a good record of BTech placements. In 2025, the highest and average package offered to BTech students was INR 137 LPA and INR 11.10 LPA, respectively. Over 450 recruiters participated in the drive and presented various job offers to the students.
