Is B.Tech open to lateral entry? -Universities and engineering colleges offer a lateral entry programme that allows students who have completed a 3-year engineering Diploma, a B.Sc. Degree, or an equivalent exam with at least 50% of the marks and Mathematics as a required subject in Class XII to be admitted directly to the second year. Now the fees per year for the next three years is ;
for 1st year : 2,19,000
for 2nd year: 2,29,000
for 3rd year: 2,36,000
Total fees is INR 6,84,000.

First of all the Jee mains are the exams which are given after 12th for securing IIT or Nit depending on the rank which u are securing. There are 2 chances given for securing a good rank and thus holding a good position. The JEE mains cut off at VJTI Mumbai for B.Tech in Computer Engineering is around 9855.
