Hello Raghav,
Yes you can give compartment in class 12 and apply for college for B.Tech in the same year. But you want to do BTech from good college then you have to take any entrance exam like JEE main, JEE Advanced, WBJEE etc.

To get admitted into any Iims or any Top MBA colleges in India, the minimum CAT 2022 cutoff is expected to be 90 percentile. Those who secured the 99+ percentile can apply to top Iims like IIM Bangalore, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Lucknow, IIM Calcutta, and IIM Kozhikode.

Your marks in all of your academic careers are good enough.
What matters is how much you can score in your MBA entrance examinations. The higher you score, the better chances you have to make it to some of the best B-Schools in the country.

Hi Atharv, Sure you can choose any branch in B.Tech, it doesn't matter what's your branch in Diploma. But my point of view is that there are many electrical vacancies for electrical Diploma in government sector so focus on your preparation despite doing B.Tech.

Hello! Prem Kumar, There is no fee waiver for general male students. However, there is 25 percent waive for female coming through JEE Main mode in IIIT Hyderabad and 100 percent fee waiver for SC and ST students in IIIT Allahabad. All the waiver is from tuition fee. You have to pay other fees.

Hello! kala, The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in the SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination SRMJEEE (UG) conducted by SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University). Based on the ranking, admissions will be offered to the candidate.
